- There is Communion in only one kind
- there is no sign of peace
- Communion on the tongue is safer than communion in the hand because the priest never touches tongues but often touches hands

Seems like it. Giving traditionalists a bad name (and while I was neutral about “traditionalism” before, these threads are putting a bad taste in my mouth).Really? There are threads already discussing this and manner of receiving. Are we now purposely trying to go down the TLM is superior to OF rabbit hole using illness and tragedy as an excuse?
Nonsense. The proximity of infectious people coughing and sneezing and touching pews and door handles will negate any perceived advantage of the EF Mass.I did not say superior. I said safer.
I typically attend the TLM. But I think your reasons here are pretty flawed because most bishops are asking pastors to only distribute the Body of Christ & to omit the Sign of Peace (or make people wave)

Please don’t let a vocal minority tarnish the reputation of many of wonderful people.Camehome4john6:![]()

When standing or kneeling against the Altar Rail?9 times out of 10, the priest has accidentially touched my tongue, so yeah, not true
Yes, I agree.I receive on the toungue all the time, not with an altar rails, and it is very rare that a priest or deacon touch my tongue. Pretty rare for EMHCs also.
If someone has the priest touch their tongue 9 out of 10 times, two people are doing something wrong.
