Haha I’m sorry if this is a stupid question but how exactly do you pronounce Chaldean as in Chaldean Catholic Church? Is it with the “Ch” sound or a “K” sound? Among the Syro Malabar Catholics we pronounce it “Kaldaya Katholica”.

It’s with a “K” sound. The pronunciation of the initial letter is taken directly from the Syriac “Kaldaya”.
