I know some musical choices published for use as Mass parts are not liturgically correct. Can someone post specific examples of incorrect Mass parts? Example: using “We Remember how you loved us…” or Lamb of God…Bread of Life…Prince of Peace…

Thanks.

Some I’ve heard:
*Keep in Mind *sung as the Memorial Acclamation
*Peace Is Flowing Like a River *sung in place of the Lamb of God
The song *Holy Holy Holy, Lord God Almighty *sung in place of the Sanctus
*Angels We Have Heard on High *sung in place of the Gloria on Christmas

Is it a liturgical abuse to sing the acclamation or Great Amen with “Alleluia” in it…

Christ has died alleluia
Christ is risen alleluia
Christ will come again alleluia

or

Amen alleluia
forever and ever
forever alleluia
forever and ever
Amen
