I wouldnt get hung up on the “correct” way to pray other than to pray to God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and to do so from the heart. Follow the pattern that Christ instructed and exemplified:
He prayed often - and especially when big things were about to happen
He often went to a quiet place to pray alone and told us to do the same
He instructed us to pray the Lords Prayer (See Matt:6)
I certainly dont mean to exclude various forms of prayer, meditation, etc. There are many forms of prayer which appeal to different people for different reasons. If you want a great book on prayer that is short and to the point, try “Inviting God into your Life” by William Watson. You wont be disappointed and it’s under $10
What is the correct way to speak to someone who loves you and knows you through and through?
Well, Dragoro, I gues you just talk to them , how you feel, what you think, what you need, what you want to give. You just be yourself with God!!!

Prayer is not just the words spoken that have been used for centuries, such as novenas, etc. Prayer is a conversation with God (for lack of better words). You can just talk to God and Our Lord, reverently, of course, anytime. Same for Our Lady and the Saints. Offering all your actions to God, I believe, is a form of prayer as well.
