I gave up my Costco card a few years ago. That place is very seductive. I couldn’t get out of there for under $250! 
Why do they keep such careful tabs on what their employees do after hours? This shows the danger of anti-‘Hate Speech’ laws, etc. Canada, unfortunately, has gone too far in protecting Gay rights at the expense of others.

It is the mentality of a leftist society, all activity must be monitored. People are the property of the State. Just read 1984 which was about this.

Was the person doing this denying people halls stuff during their own time, because I do not like the idea that companies fire people merely because of something they do outside of work, that has no effect during work.
But anyway, cancelling a booking, how childish is that, did they never think to speak to the people, and as if it is going to make a difference anyway, it has just made the Knights of Columbus look a bit silly.

The Church doesn’t demand that people be Catholic to work at Costco. Costco is a secular employer that has no right to discriminate based on how an employee spends their free time, or what their personal beliefs are.

Yes but there could be more to it than we know however, the employee could have been causing unease at work with his views - which I do doubt, but we do not know all the facts, this news service itself is a conservative site that reflects in tradtional judeo christian manner, they may want to try and emphasise the employees inocence etc.
NB I am not claiming anything I say about the employee or the situation that has arisen is true, but could be the case.

From what I read of the article the Knight ought to counter sue for having to put up with a hostile work environment and enter a civil suit against these people for conspiring to trap him in a crime–if the loony laws of Canada allow such lawsuits. From this and other things I’ve read about Canada, thank God I don’t live there! And please God it won’t come to this in the USA!

You could, but you’d be missing some major points and aspects of the Church, therefore coming to a false conclusion.
I don’t know but this story made me ill and I’ll have to turn in my Costco card. I can’t support a company that openly did something like this against a man because he took a stand. It really sounds like they (the lesbians) scouted out every avenue they could take to make this man uncomfortable and I’m proud of him that he took a stand. While reading it, it made me feel like I should help him out with a donation of some kind. Anyway… good for him for standing up for the faith and not being bullied into accepting the homosexual lifestyle and having to change HIS views for someone else.
