Have you wider evidence from other parishes?

Mine is doing fine, except for “and with your spirit,” which tends to come out “and also your spirit,” but I’m sure you’ll catch on.

From what little I’ve read, it sounds as though the new translation was better received than some predicted. But I don’t have actual nationwide data either.

I was at a parish near my parents’ house for this first week of the change and the people were quite unprepared. Most people just stuck with the old responses and didn’t seem to notice.

Then I got back to my parish and pretty much everyone is saying all the parts correctly (even the “and with your spirit” line). Many people are doing it from memory, too, and not using the pew cards. I like my parish.
