Could a Catholic bake a cake for a gay wedding?

knowledge that persons who are not strong enough to continue resisting the immodesties are being continually beaten into pieces because of the childrens’ and sometimes adults’ blatant disrespect to the ones that are being beaten down by their lack of being agreeable.

Why does the society need to be agreeable with daily immodesties but never should they be agreeable with daily modesties?

The rulers are ruling in favor of the majority of the society which often times could, very well, be the immodest. But this is not Godly in any sense of the word Godly.

These rulers are neither helping the Godly nor the immodest by their lack of any proper judgments.

The very little that God has given to them, if they do not use it to gain more and others for good, will be taken from them and given to others.

Matthew 25:29
“For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have more than enough. But from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”

Matthew 25:14-30

This also is in very direct relation with Governing Lands and residents and citizens…

What’s going on in Iran this very day, today? wars? protests? upheavals? Where are those that are supposed to be doing their jobs properly?

A job can be like a bag of talents.

Seems like Law Enforcement is hoping that Government will do the Law Enforcing duties for them…

Government elected Officials DO NOT have the Authority to refrain any form of violence with proper necessary force(s). Nor do they have any Authority to sentence any person of crime. Nor do they have any Authority to arrest any person… Those duties are not given to the Government Elected Officials. Checks and Balances.

And to think… All this upheaval for What ?? What was all this for? Some ‘right’ to be able to have sex however way they wanted when they were already allowed to live their lives as adults? What adult DOESN’T have the right to drink their alcoholic beverage of choice?

Those under the age of 18 or so are under their Legal Guardian’s Responsibility, according to State and Federal Law.

It sure as heck might not be conspiracy, but it sure as heck does appear to be illogical…

So why don’t they go out and find jobs and try to help their communities out?? Why don’t they BEGIN doing something beneficial for the entire Community instead of just the minors? Their parents raised them on the income they earned, right?

An adult aged person needing assistance as a child would and making Laws as adults do? That is not logical.

Appears as if The World is going to some extreme measures to keep their bag of talents dug and buried. While at the same time, those who have earned rightfully, are being put into graves.

It is illogical… from man’s standpoint and from any religious standpoint… If these people want nothing more than their own like minded persons on Earth, that is not up to living humans to make happen… Righteous persons cannot make themselves vanish off the face of the Earth…in order to ‘turn the other cheek and return blessings for curses’… I’m sure if they could, they would be more than kind and polite to accommodate their desires… but dying is not vanishing off the planet… it’s still being on the planet.

It doesn’t matter for what personal, emotional, mental reason or purpose all this is/was for… It is just illogical… PERIOD…

They might be on a one track mind and unable to derail from it.

But that goes from illogical to mentally imbalanced.

But It is very unlikely that a person is mentally imbalanced if they have NEVER done any illicit drugs that ‘man’ mixes other ingredients within. Natural growths are naturally grown by God Himself. They would not be able to grow naturally if God did not ‘grow’ it. But added ingredients to ‘natural’ growths change the product from ‘natural’ to ‘unnatural’… And all the above mentioned thoughts and doings are not natural but unnatural.

Tobacco plants, in it of itself, is natural… The added ingredients before, during, after the planting process is what causes the natural plant to have unnatural ingredients. Pesticides, herbacides, insecticides, Sulfuric acids, all the rest are chemicals added to the soil, the plant, the curing process, the drying process, the preserving process, etc… which then has turned the natural plant into an unnatural product.

Let’s look at the other plants… the Marijuana plant… it grows naturally but if it is going to be cultivated then unnatural products might be mixed in to help boost profits.

The opium plant, which is natural, when other ingredients are mixed in with the opium extracts, are sold as heroin… It really isn’t opium … it’s a blend of many ingredients with opium extract being 1 of the ingredients.

What is a good way for them to regain soundness? Get responsible with the bag of talents they still have…

If they have become too weak or are unable… Ask God or someone for assistance. Many times, the parents are still around…

Too embarrassed to ask your parents for assistance? Then be responsible enough to not forget to keep in touch with them… You never know… they might want to take you out for lunch or something… Who knows, your brother Bill might have had a child of his own…

Much happens in nature. We are told some animals eat their young. Some animals (it is said) engage in homosexual acts. Survival of the fittest is surely a law of nature. These things do not constitute the natural law, sorry.

Like I said, consult a bible commentary that explains the sense of expressions used.

It is right there in black and white… It specifically says by NATURE ITSELF and not by custom.

What is the ground support for the natural law except nature itself?
What is your definition of natural law?
I am also sorry that you have not given us your definition of natural law.
I understand natural law to be the philosophy that certain rights or values are known through nature itself and universally cognizable through human reason. The law of nature, or the natural law being determined by nature, is universal and can be understood and known by human reason.
Natural law is nothing more than a body of law or specific principles which can be derived from nature itself and are universally binding on human society.

At the same time, good luck to you in trying to prove that the natural law never changes. Not only do we see from St. Paul and modern society that rules derived from nature itself do change over time, but we have the example of artificial birth control, on which many religions have changed their teaching. And I see that the Catholic Church is open to reunion with the Orthodox Church, although the Orthodox Church has changed its teaching on artificial birth control. They don’t seem to see any difference between ABC and Natural family planning.
 
Just because society may decide to tolerate one thing and be intolerant towards another thing does not mean it is right; there is such a thing as a bad law.
 
Somehow we seem to have lost all thought of cakes. Just as well for me. I was thinking of making one, and I’m not good in the kitchen. 😮
 
It’s not about the quality. It’s about whether or not you approve of someone’s invalid romantic relationship…which is somehow magically “equal” to all the ones involving people who don’t care.

Which is a good thing, because the specific instance (cakes & bakers) is not so much the issue. The question of substance is whether it’s just to compel a person to act contrary to their conscience; contrary to their genuine religious beliefs.

In some cases it may be just at least according to the civil law of a western country. Take for example the religious belief that women must wear Muslim garb which covers their entire face, except possibly their eyes.

I think a case can be made to show it is just to compel her to show more than just the eyes when she is in public.
