Could Anglicans Join As New Rite

My understanding is that there already is a “Usage” within the Latin Rite for “Anglican Use”. It was introduced in the 1980’s to help Anglican and Episcopal clergy converting their parishes.

I don’t quite understand this talk about the Nicene Creed. I’ve been a Catholic my entire life and I have never heard that creed recited!

It’s starting to become a bit embarrassing that no Canadian Catholics know the Nicene Creed. It’s even more embarrassing that the Apostles‘ Creed is only supposed to be used during children’s masses only, but we use it for the most holy masses of the church.

The point is that the Anglican Church would definitely not have to replace the Apostles‘ Creed; I’ve never been to a Catholic church that doesn’t use it exclusively!

They wouldn’t have to replace it, since Anglicans use all three classic creeds, Nicene, Apostles’ and Athanasian.
