I think being “tempted” is only one aspect of what is appropriate to fill our minds with. I don’t want to clutter my intellect with garbage the same way I don’t want to sit and listen to the man next to me at a baseball game use profane language over and over. Doesn’t tempt me per se, but it has no place in my life. I know people who do not find pornography tempting, but that doesn’t make it appropriate. I think Catholic sensibilities go way beyond what make lead us to sin or tempt us, though that is a good starting point,

I avoid the show “Lucifer” because he is shown as an anti-hero (like Wolverine) and is not. We are warned in the holy bible from Paul that Lucifer shows himself off as an angel of light but is not.

The news is good to keep track of things. If you are waiting on laws to pass, there are sites for the senate and congress and the news just says their opinion. Catholics keep track of political things because we are strongly anti abortion. Stay in the know.
