In light of the Church’s 2005 instruction regarding homosexuals and the priesthood, are there any circumstances under which a convert to the Church to be eligible for admission to Seminary and to the Priesthood, if the convert truly felt a calling towards that, but prior to his conversion, he had been in a homosexual relationship?
Would it make a difference if the convert had made full Confession for his prior life of sin and had remained chaste for several years since his conversion?
