I know the Buddha lived some 400 years before Christ but do you think they could be friends? My thoughts on this are that Jesus would want to be friends with all sinners in order for them to learn the truth.
Wish I could give 100 likes!Jesus got along with anybody who wasn’t being a jerk, and Buddha seemed like he was pretty mellow.
False. You seem to have a fondness for legends and other fictions.Yes they could. After all, the Catholic Church made the Buddha a saint. See Barlaam and Josaphat
This is soooooo wrong. Thanks I needed a good chuckle.Since the Buddha is a saint
The Catholic Encyclopedia is fiction? Look at the bottom of the page, this particular fiction has an Imprimatur and a Nihil Obstat.False. You seem to have a fondness for legends and other fictions.
TTBOMK Buddha never presented himself as a divine person, his followers did that after his passing.“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
All that means is nothing is against church faith and morals. The person giving these is not required to agree with what is written. It only means nothing is against doctrine and dogma. You are misinterpreting that entry. The Catholic Encyclopedia is fiction? Look at the bottom of the page, this particular fiction has an Imprimatur and a Nihil Obstat .
Moses is not a saint? Nor Abraham?A non Catholic cannot become a canonized saint. full stop, end of story.
