Could Really Do With Some Help Please

Hi there. Thank you all particularly Natalie and Teresa for all of your prayers.

The first part of the week was awful for nightmares which were becoming progressively more disturbing. Wednesday night I dreamt that blood was running down the walls and other horrible things. On Thursday I saw spoke with one of the priests at the Cathedral. He told me to stop praying for these people. He said it was making things worse and that I should leave them to God.

Well, I said my rosary as usual and generally prayed for their spiritual health without concentrating specifically on that woman with the really dark atmosphere around her. I slept well and peacefully. I was completely at peace at Mass today.

I really wanted to pray for her because I can see clearly that something has hold of her but it’s obviously going to fight. I think I’m going to ask the priests to pray for her. Their prayers will be stronger than mine. Maybe they can achieve what needs to be done.

I’ll keep praying for the conversion and protection of souls and thank you so much for your support and help.

Hi Clare you have put so much into praying for others who clearly have much need that perhaps it was putting yourself in jeopardy.Your priest is wise and gave you good counsel.Because of your dedication and prayer for others the enemy tries to hurt you (it would seem).
You are such a blessing to people in your life,thankyou for all you do.Keep yourself safe and pray for others and let your priests take the burden from you for the others.God bless you

Thanks for your continued and thoughtful prayers. They are really making a difference at a time when I feel spiritually beaten up and exhausted. I know what the priest said but I have prayed part of my rosary for them. No doubt I’ll be dreaming about all sorts now.

The other day, I asked God to get me out of there and a couple of days later, Thursday (I think) someone approached me about a project in London Bridge. I’d met the hiring manager last year and was “runner up”. Whether that puts me in good stead now I don’t know.

I do need to get away from them. I will trust that God will show me what I should do.

Thanks. What a thoughtful message. I am feeling better, thanks. I aksed God to stay with me today and He did.

I went to Mass twice and prayed my socks off for those people - against priest’s advice. I just can’t give up completely. Even if it just helps one person.

Dear Father in Heaven, please protect Poor Clare from these terrible nightmares. Grant her extra graces and holy strength, wisdom, love and understanding so that she can continue to pray for those who appeal for prayers in this forum without draining her. A Hail Holy Queen, Our Father, Hail Mary, a Glory Be and a Fatima Prayer for Poor Clare.
