Prayers! Could you help me pray? My friend who is 67 had a rough year. She has been with her husband for 30 years. The past year he planned & tried to leave her but somehow kept changing his mind. He said he isn’t physically attracted to her anymore and wants to “have fun”. Finally he left and went to live with the other woman. My friend is Buddhist, he has no belief/religion.
She is not near many friends but is a lovely person who often lived overseas and tried to help others and change the world as she could. She is heartbroken, crushed. Her husband also a good hearted person but seemed to be extremely confused and then finally made his decision. She is emotionally at the bottom, she may have had a stroke. Could you help me pray that she can overcome and become strong again in her new life that she hasnt chosen without her husband. She has a volunteer job in Thailand with refugees on the Thai/Burma border, but is a little afraid to go do to her emotional condition but at the same time this is the work that she loves to do. Also lets pray for her to find our Lord. Thank you!!!

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to their assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Most dear Jesus,
filled with sorrow during the agony in the garden,
covered with a sweat of blood while praying,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
delivered into the hands of the wicked by a kiss,
bound like a robber,
and abandoned by your disciples,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
condemned to death by an unjust Council,
taken as an evildoer before Pilate,
and ridiculed by the wicked Herod,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
publicly shorn of your garments,
and most cruelly scourged at the pillar,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
crowned with thorns,
beaten and blindfolded,
clothed in rich purple and mocked,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
likened to the infamous Barabbas,
rejected by your people,
and unjustly sentenced to death,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
burdened with the weight of the Cross
and led to the place of execution like a lamb to the slaughter,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
reckoned with the wicked, blasphemed, and derided,
and given gall to drink to mitigate your pain,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
dying on the Cross in the presence of Mary,
pierced with a lance that drew blood and water from your side,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
taken down and placed in the arms of your Sorrowful Mother,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
horribly bruised and marked with five wounds,
annointed for burial and placed in a tomb,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

My Jesus,
I thank you for dying on the Cross for my sins.
Have mercy on us, O Lord.

Amen.**

(A beautiful prayer, Nelka!)

I will be praying for you, for your friend, and for her husband during a Holy Hour I’ll be making later in the week, thankulord.

Our Father …
Hail Mary …
Glory Be …

Oh, my! I will definitely pray for her; given this situation and her volunteering jobs, she seems like a very brave woman.

Lord, please bring reconciliation to this marriage. Please bring conversion, enlightenment, and salvation to this couple. Please keep this woman safe as she works. :signofcross:
