Again, how can God be love when he threatens folks will burn in hell?

You choose Heaven or Hell. It is not some threat. When a father tells their child that if you put your hand on the stove, you will get burned, is he some evil threating fiigure? God can’t abide with sin. We can’t go to Heaven and be one with him if we are in major sin. That would be like allowing a man covered in mud into a fancy restaurant.

You have to realize that maybe we and probability are all that is responsible in this world. You might get a couple miracles but the majority of what happens in this world is caused by our free will and by probability. All the murders are our fault. Any animal attacks are caused because the animals work using their instincts. Earthquakes are caused by plate tectonics. You can’t blame God for these things. Besides, you have free will, he didn’t force you to be at that place when the Earthquake happened. Suffering will happen. It helps us grow spiritually. You can’t blame God, just like you can’t blame the father when a child burns their hand. However, we can turn to Him for comfort and strength when suffering does come.

First of all, I’m a MISS Agnostic. Not all agnostics are males.

Second of all, I AM sincere…I just happen to ask too many questions…I said that at the beginning of this thread.

And finally, Im willing to believe…only if it’s true. Do you have a problem with people being skeptical??

The God that you describe and don’t believe in…I don’t believe in that God either…i think your problem lies with the perception of what God is…let me ask you a question do you doubt God’s existence in general or just a personal God…this is very important
