You’re welcome PandaBean1! Although I am not a hoader I somehow became very interested in it at some point, I think I wanted to understand it. That’s when I found Squalor Survivors. It interesting how, especially in the last 10 years or so it has become recognized as something unique in itself (rather than just another manifestation of OCD for example) and now there are on-going studies to discover what is unique about hoaders and what kind of therapy helps. One thing I read somewhere (wish I could find it) is that hoaders are generally very intelligent compared to any other random sampling of the population. You’re in good company

Hi! read “A Mother’s Rule of Life” by Holly Pierlot… awesome book, she writes about her messy home and explains how she came to see that Christ wants us to be able to find peace in our homes that we may share that peace with our families, then she goes on about how to get there. It’s very practical book explains things well. Also, flylady.com is a good website… We’ll be praying for you…
