Holy Michael the Archangel defend us in the day of battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host,
by the Power of God,
thrust down to hell satan and all the wicked spirits,
who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession and was left forsaken. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, a sorrowful sinner. Despise not my words, O Mother of the Word, but in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen

Hi everyone. My breathing is getting worse. I was talking to a neighbor who smokes and the second hand smoke affected my breathing more. I was unable to quit smoking when I tried to this past time but I did drastically cut down since I was sick. I went from a pack a day to a half a pack a day or less. As of now, I am out of cigarettes and I am trying as hard as I can to stay away from them and to stay away from second hand smoke because of how it is affecting me.

That said, I am not going to be able to go to Mass this weekend. My breathing is still too bad. I know that if I went to Mass I would definitely have an asthma attack and quite possibly a severe one. 😦

Glorious Archangel Saint Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners. I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the medicine of God, I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body. I especially ask of you the favour to aid Holly3278 with her health and the great grace of purity to prepare me to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Our Father. Hail Mary. Glory Be.

St. Raphael, of the glorious seven who stand before the throne of Him who lives and reigns, Angel of health, the Lord has filled your hand with balm from heaven to soothe or cure our pains. Heal or cure the victim of disease. And guide our steps when doubtful of our ways.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end
Amen.

Hey everyone. Thank you for your prayers. I am doing alright at this time. I haven’t yet taken my breathing treatment as scheduled but I am getting ready to do so in a few minutes. My lungs are feeling a little tight but not bad enough that I would call it an asthma attack. Nevertheless, a breathing treatment will help me breathe better. This is mild breathing problems. I’m not concerned about it and I am pretty sure my breathing treatment will get my breathing back to a good status here shortly.

That said, I am much more calm than I was yesterday. I am no longer quite so irritable although I am quite nervous because of the severe weather outbreak that is about to happen in my area. My area is right in the bulls eye for severe weather. We’re in the High Risk area so I am quite concerned. Keep in mind that I lived through a tornado when I was 7 years old and although our house wasn’t damaged, I did see the damage it caused to other parts of the town afterwards. The F4 Tornado which I believe was multivortex destroyed half of our town approximately. Unfortunately, strong and violent tornadoes are again very much possible later today.

I haven’t slept much in the past 24 hours because of my anxiety but I did get a 2 to 4 hour nap earlier while sitting on the couch. I had just prayed the Rosary and I closed my eyes to pray to God some more and ended up falling asleep. I’m honestly glad that I fell asleep because it helped me to calm down quite a bit. I finished my prayers a little bit ago.

Well anyway, thanks for your prayers everyone. Please pray that my anxiety would be eased and that I would be able to trust in God as much as possible. I do trust in Him but because of my history with severe storms, especially the tornado in 1990, I get very very scared in situations like this.

Hey everyone. I’d appreciate prayers. My stress levels are very high and I am trying to stay calm. I am extremely anxious about the severe weather outbreak which I have another prayer request thread going for. Needless to say, I am feeling the pleurisy chest pain that I get when I have high stress levels. Bronchitis can exacerbate it to. I have been to the emergency room for this exact same type of chest pain and they have always told me it is related to a respiratory infection or anxiety.

Praying that the Lord may grant you relief from stress and that He may heal your ailments.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Thank you JMJ_Telcontar. I really appreciate it. 🙂

That said, my breathing is doing pretty poorly this morning. Its not real bad but its not real good either.

Hey everyone. My breathing is doing better.

Thank you for praying for me Vim71. I appreciate it. 🙂

That said, I am extremely nervous and paranoid about the weather today as many of you can probably tell by all the posts I am making in the prayer thread for the severe weather.

I am trying hard to trust in God but my body is like in hyper drive or something and I am finding it very hard to calm down. I want to stay calm though because it will help me deal with any emergency better. I also want to trust in God more because I know that God wants me to trust in Him and I want to please Him.

Hi everyone. I am unable to sleep tonight because of stress. Today was an extremely high stress day for me today. I heard about a tornado headed toward a town nearby that was 1/2 mile wide and I knew my friend lived there and I panicked big time cause I thought I would lose him. Thankfully he is fine. However, the town is not fine. A tornado did hit and they are under a dusk till dawn curfew.

That said, my breathing is doing alright but I am just completely unable to sleep right now. I want to sleep but my stress levels are so high that I can’t.

Praying that the Lord may grant you relief from stress.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Hello everyone. Thank you for the prayers. 🙂

That said, I am confused. Should I continue posting updates about my health on this thread or on the thread I created? I am so confused. 🤷 I did post an update about my health on the other thread this morning because I thought that everyone was going to post in there but now I don’t know. 😊

Anyway, I went to Confession and Mass this evening. I am so glad that I went. I am feeling much happier than I was this morning now that I have went. I am still a little bit depressed but I am no longer anywhere near as depressed as I was.

That said, my breathing is still not doing as good as I want it to be. It is nowhere near as bad as it was though either. I have been coughing a little bit but its a dry cough for the most part.

I have also been having some sinus issues this evening. It is primarily sinus drainage issues. My ears and throat was hurting earlier but I took some pain medicine and I am feeling better than I was now.

I am also having some fibromyalgia pain that I would appreciate prayers for. I only took my prescription pain medicine earlier even though I thought that perhaps I should take two acetaminophen as well but I did not do so. I am going to go ahead and take the acetaminophen as well. My pain management doctor has told me that I should do this if my prescription pain medicine alone does not reduce the pain enough. The pain is rather mild at this point (I would rate it at a 5 on a pain scale of 1-10 with 10 being the worst I’ve ever had.) but I am afraid that my pain will get worse if I do not take the acetaminophen as well so I am going to go ahead and do that.

Anyway, I would appreciate your continued prayers for my spiritual, physical, and mental health. I greatly appreciate the prayers that everyone has already prayed for me. It means a lot to me. 👍

Hi everyone. I am really shaky and I feel like I am going really fast. My body also feels like it is vibrating from top to bottom with the exception of my head. I have no idea what causes this. It started earlier this year when they put me on Effexor and I quit taking it because I thought it was a side effect caused by the medicine. I am now on a different antidepressant but I am having this strange sensation again and it is really bothering me. I think it might be a sustained panic attack or a paranoid sense or something. I trust in God and everything and I have prayed about this but it won’t go away. I’m not sure what to do.
