yes I have put numerous votes in

please people, vote as much as you can. There is a life on the line.

If(hopefully) the child is born, I think someone should show this site to the local authorities near where this person lives and a child services. These parents are not fit to take care of this child and the child should be adopted to a good christian couple who will VALUE his life as something more than an auction votebot decision.

sick people… she should be locked up!

P.S. - just got done reporting this to a child exploitation/abuse center. Gave them the site and everything. While abortion may be legal, exploiting someones impending life or death with a votebot is not right and the parents might not be right in the head to take care of this child if they would think of such things.

Sorry if this title upset anyone but it needs attention. in america a couple are leaving the matter of abortion to an online poll. please follow this link and vote “give birth”

birthornot.com/
The woman should give birth, and then the two people should be hung, drawn, and quartered for their disgustingness.

I just came across their website earlier today. When I saw it, I didn’t know whether to cry or vomit or both. I certainly pray that this is a prank. The whole concept is really disturbing.

Thank God it was all fake, but still what a blow to the pro-life movement they have made. At best it won’t effect anything in the long run, at worst they’re just another example of pro-choice people picturing pro-life people as insane.

apparently 4chan has a votebot
I briefly read some of the actual posts. As much as I find the concept disgusting, I think they are at least aware of the technical issues, and were actually quite moved by some of the pro-life outreach. I think I read that they were interviewing potential adoptive parents, so I pray, they are not so heartless as to actually follow through with a rigged vote.

This was a “stunt”?? This is what makes the pro life movement look like a collection stone cold morons, and makes the work of us trying to end abortion that much harder.

Thanks for nothing.

Disturbing no matter what, real or fake, a sick use of publicity on this issue whatever the facts are.

Personally, even if it was real, I’d be inclined to abstain, because it’s like negotiating with a terrorist or something. In the end, if it was real, people that sick would do whatever they pleased regardless - they would have already demonstrated that their morals are as low as you can go.

If they were real, which I doubt, and really sincere, they would go to a crisis pregnancy center instead of wasting time with an Internet stunt.

None of this is to be construed as my not caring if a child is aborted - but if this were a real thing, it’s like the people would be trying to hold everyone else responsible for their own decision.

Like I said, TWISTED.

70 / 30 % split. Abort is the majority pray the Holy Rosary that this is a joke (bad taste, bad taste…) or the couple will just give birth.

I was pleased to see that the vote was initially heavily pro-life. But within the past few days it went heavily in the opposite direction, toward pro-abortion.

I do hope it is indeed a publicity stunt only and that they were intending to keep the child the whole time. It did make me think that, as they seem to go to the OB/GYN almost weekly for updated sonograms. They mention, in their blog, about the books they are reading, including “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”. It did seem very pro-life.

Votebot? I am very well a living breathing human… my heart may be cold stony and black:heart: but… I’m still human. By the way what the h… is 4chan?
4Chan is a website. Unlike most websites, it lacks “community guidelines”, and its basically the seedy back alley of the internet, where cruel pranks such as hacking other websites, or setting up “vote-bots” (computer programs) that auto-vote in favor of abortion are planned out.

Basically, its a lot like Catholic Answers (except totally not :p)!

heh, I don’t think the Anglican communities are exactly ‘helping’ the cause for abortion either, considering they promote it and say its ok and were the first community to allow contraception.

from what I have seen, it has turned out to be a hoax…

Hoax or not, now the reprehensible and disgusting idea is in the collective consciousness.

Don’t be surprised to see copycats - Pray really hard that we won’t.

I live in the city where abortionist George Tiller was murdered. I was sickened that day for so many reasons. In tears, prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet for his soul and the soul of his murderer. And I prayed that people will use common sense in working to end abortion, even if it seems frustrating that sometimes it keeps going on. And what if Tiller repented and became a great pro-life advocate? Maybe it wouldn’t have happened, but we’ll never know now.😦

Mentioning the above because, if the “Birth or Not” website is a hoax, the connection with Tiller’s murder is: Unbelievably Stupid Things Done By Ostensibly ‘Pro-Life’ People That End Up Giving Sincere and Decent Pro-Lifers a Bad Reputation and Make Pro-Choicers Look Like They Have The Higher Moral Ground - like a previous poster said, thanks for nothing.

The internet is like the little girl with the curl on her forehead. When she was good, she was very very good, but when she was bad, she was horrid.
