Well, sure. The circumstances we find ourselves in are not the choice of God, most often, but the result of the (often bad) choices of other humans. But the circumstance we are in *is *the circumstance in which God manifests himself, and this manifestation is awesome. Do you know the “O Happy Fault” notion from Good Friday? I think that every limiting circumstance becomes a happy fault if we cooperate with God’s action in our lives.

Or, as you have said, if we have the right attitude.

The message is not wrong. The hearer is the problem. The truth will only be received to the degree one is open to the truth. Only the holy Spirit can change a heart. The message needs to be repeated because it plants seeds and because the truth needs to be spoken in season and out season whether it is welcomed or not.

Agree completely.

Never thought of the “O Happy Fault” in the way you mention. I will definitely ponder that one. 🙂

I will never believe It is God Who fails, but rather the obstacles within one’s own heart which cause the rejection to happen whether it be misguided priorities, or ignorance or disregard for authority. I would ask these people to discover for themselves what it is they want from life and to be totally honest about it. What is the driving emphasis of their main desire and their ultimate expectation? Who do they believe they are and do they honestly think they need God? Do they recognize the need for salvation? Perhaps many would not be able to face the answers. It is not the Church and the message of Christ that is lacking, but the weakened state of the one who can neither see nor hear nor make themselves vulnerable by surrender to the One Who loves them most.

Very true. The Gospel message is to repent. Why repent if we refuse see see we are sinning?
 
The truth of the matter is, SSA is objectively disordered. Does that make someone who has it somehow a lesser person, an objectively bad person? Of course not. I think there are many people out there with this particular cross (such as many on this board) who lead well-adjusted and fulfilling lives in accordance with God’s plan.

The Church’s message is not “Hey, there’s something innately wrong with you. You’re damaged goods.”

It’s “Welp, like everyone out there, you’ve got a cross to bear, so we’re here to help you bear it in the ways that will help you most.” THAT’S the point. It’s like saying that a doctor shouldn’t say “Hey, you’ve got X illness or malady”; the doctor doesn’t think less of his patients for that, he’s just there to help as an authority with that kind of problem.

The minute we cease to identify areas in which we might have difficulty, and cease to address them as potential problems, is when we start to develop major issues. See our nation’s current and mass predicament as an example.
 
Isn’t Courage a Church approved group? Has any Bishop or Cardinal ever spoken against it?
 
Can’t we be glad and grateful in that Courage is a group that seeks to help and encourage our brothers and sisters with SSA. Praise God for those willing to be there to help others
