Rome, Italy – The highest court in Italy has granted the right to a disabled woman’s father to kill her via euthanasia by removing her feeding tube. Eluana Englaro has been in what doctors term a so-called vegetative state following a car accident and has received food and water via a feeding tube.

That doesn’t really justify starving someone who is unable to eat. I mean, does that mean God doesn’t want someone to live if that person dies from, say, bullet wounds or something? Remember, we still have free will and accountability of our actions. We can’t just attribute everything to “God’s Will” and be done with it.
 
How is someone in this state different from a baby? A baby is incapable of doing ANYTHING for himself…should we withhold nutrition?
 
It’s sickening. To be left there, helpless. Cut off from all comfort and hope in this life, by a family member.:mad:
