Cousin NEEDS prayers now

My cousin Chris, and her husband Jay have been having problems for several months now. One day they were arguing and Jay ended up pushing her, which is the first time he’d ever laid a hand on her. She wasn’t gonna let that happen again and told him to leave. Since then, they’ve been separated but not divorced. I was at their place on thanksgiving and Jay was there and he and Chris seemed to be getting along fine. But then just a couple weeks ago he got mad about something and walked out again. I heard that he said he didn’t like that she is a vegetarian, thought she was too religious, and wanted a normal marriage. The other day he walked in with divorce papers and Chris lost it. They have been married for about 12 years, together for i think 14 years and have 4 kids.

Their marriage always seemed like one of the best that I knew, so I was really surprised when I heard all these things. I pray that Jay can get back to being the godly man that he used to be and that he can see what he has in Chris and not go through with the divorce. And for the kids that they can learn from this and take it the right way. All prayers for them are greatly appreciated.

Praying for Chris, Jay and family, Lord bring them peace, love and happiness. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
 
Praying for this couple to be reconciled. May Jay keep faithful to his marriage vows and not go through with the divorce. Praying for Chris and her children to persevere and keep strong, and praying for Jay to have a conversion of heart and to be faithful to God, his wife and his children. Amen.
