I was a craddle catholic. Not a practicing, faithful catholic. By the time I decided to come back home, I was already in a 4 year relationship, and engaged. So yes it’s fair to call him my fiancé, not just “a friend”.
 
Yes, but that was before I left the church. I don’t know what steps are to be taken in my situation. If I could I would go to confession and talk to a priest but everything is closed…

That’s good news. Because confirmation is to precede marriage, so that won’t be a source of delay if you are already confirmed.

Yes, if you are fully initiated (baptism, confirmation, Eucharist) then a good confession is all you need to move forward.
