How funny. Good old cows.
Never underestimate North Carolina cows. They can be very good judges of character.
Incidentally, nitpick here, Boone is a city, not a county. Watauga is the county. Very pleasant place. My wife and I vacationed there one time. Many people seek out the college there (Appalachian State University) for the climate, the fine skiing nearby, and, so I’m told, ASU’s reputation as a consummate party school. I have told my son that I am not subsidizing his going to college for four years to party. A cold beer and a knees-up from time to time, fine, but if he wants more than that, it’ll have to be on his nickel.
