Creation

When were our souls created? What is the Catholic teaching on this?
I have read that our souls were created at the time when God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in it.
Our God Is An Awesome God! Glory and Honor is His! Praise God

Gen 2
7 And the Lord God formed man of the slime of the earth: and breathed into his face the breath of life, and man became a living soul.

Our souls exist potentially in God from eternity but exist actually when the body is formed.

I was told that God creates the soul at the moment (or right before) the body is formed… ? (which would be conception, not birth)
