Can the Creed ever be left out of a Mass. If so when?

Several people on another list I am on have said it was left out of their All Saints Day Mass.

Never heard of that. I was at Mass All Saints Day and we said the Apostles creed.

At Daily Mass there is no Credo. However All Saints Day is an occasion when the Credo would be said or sung.

Are we saying the Nicene Creed or the Apostle’s Creed at Sunday Mass and what is the difference?

At a normal Sunday Mass, the Nicene Creed is used. However, the Apostles Creed may be substituted at Masses With Children.

Not here in the Philippines. Sunday Masses use the Apostles Creed.

I forgot to mention that GIRM 44 states:

“Recitation of the profession of faith by the priest together with the people is obligatory on Sundays and solemnities. It maybe said also at special, more solemn celebrations”.
It doesn’t specify which Creed has to be used or when.

Yes here in the philippines the nicene creed is not known! hahaha! i just hope that the apostles creed be substituted with the nicene creed in the holy mass.

By the way isn’t it required to recite or sung the creed during solemnities? well here in my parish the gloria and creed was not sung nor recited during the solemnity of all the saints. How sad!!!
