Cremation?

My churches priest has recently passed away, so I need a answer to a very important question.
I am preparing my will. I would like to be cremated and serviced in my church. With the cremated remains placed in a cemetary plot. Is this allowed by the Catholic Laws?
 
Dear VAP,

Here is what the Catechism of the Catholic Church says on the matter:

“The Church permits cremation, provided that it does not demonstrate a denial of the faith in the resurection of the body.”
