I LIVE IN MERIDIAN IDAHO MY PARISH IS HOLY APOSTLES BOISE DIOCESE.AT MY PARISH THEY HAVE A COLUMBARIUM CEMETARY ON THE CHURCH GROUNDS.I SIGNED UP FOR A N ICHE. .I READ SOMEWHERE THAT IF A PERSON IS CREMATED THEY SHOULD FIRST HAVE A FUNERAL MASS BEFORE BEING CREMATED IS THAT TRUE.I WAS WONDERING SINCE I’LL BE AT THE COLUMBARIUM ON CHURCH PROPERTY DOES IT PERTAIN TO ME?.

if you are pre-planning your funeral speak to your priest. Yes a Catholic funeral is still possible with cremation, and the diocese has put the building there so people will do the proper think which is to repose the cremated remains there, not scattering or an urn on the mantelpiece. It is not considered good web etiquette to use all caps, it is called screaming.

I would never want to be cremated…I don’t want to burn twice:o.

sorry about using the bigger type letters.i’m new at this.it’s the first time i ever heard it was wrong. GOD BLESS.🤷

What is “wrong”?

You are presumably alive now, so what do you think went “wrong”?

I think she is referring to typing in all caps. That is usually wrong, since it is construed as yelling.😉
I don’t think so. Look at post number 5 made by the OP.
The only words in all caps is the God Bless at the end of it.

Let’s hope the OP gets to a priest fast to help sort this out.
