Mind you, I am not particularly strict, traditional, orthodox, etc., and I do have a sense of humor, but I am, shall we say, rather circumspect about my own references to Jesus, the Bible, and prayer. Your mileage may vary.
That’s fine. Mileage does vary. I would never, ever use the image of beloved Jesus to make a joke at His expense, ever. If anything, using art depicting Him actually gives Him the upper hand by poking fun at modern-day Christians not being as epic or young-spirited as He clearly was.

Oh. My. Goodness. It’s called SATIRE. Humor. And it is at NO ONE’S expense. Lighten up.
It is at the expense of Catholics and the Pope. And deep down it is referencing the our likeness to the image of God.

It is also at the expense of the Orthodox religions.
And Martyrs and St Josephat.

Unfortunately, it is hard to have any kind of satirical topic on a religious forum because people have all kinds of different sensibilities as to what is appropriate, creating a risk that somebody will get offended and complain or flag your post. Since we’re stuck with this system and there’s no way to block offended people out of your thread, the only place to share is in PMs with people who aren’t going to get all bothered.

And of course it’s impossible to have a religious humor topic on a non-religious forum because usually some atheist or hater shows up just basically trashing religion or pushing the humor to an inappropriate level. I had an unpleasant experience with that recently elsewhere and I’m sure everybody else has too.

That is absurd. Get a sense of humor or stay out of normal human lightheartedness.

I dont make satire or jokes about God, or the Pope, or our Orthodox brothers and sisters.

I do make reparation for satire and jokes against God.
normal human lightheartedness.
we are in the world but not of the world. We are called to sanctity, to live holy lives. To worship and adore God.

Did you know it is said that the beard of Jesus was plucked out by the soldiers during his passion.

I am not making fun of God or anybody or anything holy. I can’t believe you. Just stop.
