Hello friends,

My great-aunt Evelyn is critically ill. She’s 90 and has a facial tumor and now has bleeding they haven’t been able to control. They are currently moving her to a larger hospital some hours away (she lives in a very small town) and if they can’t get the bleeding under control they will have to do surgery, and she may lose an eye.

Thanks so much for your prayers, God Bless you all!

Lord let this woman regain some semblance of health. If it be Your will Lord allow her to recover her eye and make it possible for the tumor to disappear. To You we pray

Hail Mary full of grace,
the Lord is with thee,
Blessed art you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus,
Holy Mary, mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now, and at the hour of our death
Amen

O God, the strength of the weak and the comfort of sufferers, mercifully accept our prayers, and grant to your servant Evelyn. The help of your power, that her sickness may be turned into health, and our sorrow into joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

I will include Evelyn in my daily rosary and in my daily petitions at adoration. I will include Evelyn in my Easter Mass communion and I pray that she does not need to lose her eye and that she grows closer to our Lord and receives His comfort now more than ever through loving family and generous and kind hospital staff. I ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Jesus please have mercy on Evelyn in this distressing illness and uncontrolled bleeding, so that this eye surgery isn’t needed… Please comfort the poor dear lady and her family by getting the bleeding under control and making her comfortable.

Thank you all for your prayers! I am so grateful for them!

My Aunt is doing much better for now. They had to inflate a balloon in her nose to stop the bleeding, and with transfusions her blood levels are back up and she was able to go back home (she lives in a nursing home). One of her daughters is there with her and her grandson has done a fabulous job of helping her and keeping the rest of us up to date.

We’re now waiting for her doctor to see her tomorrow to see if there’s anything that can be done. She had another trip to the ER yesterday as the balloon had deflated some and she began bleeding again. I don’t know how long they can keep it in there as it seems to be only a stop-gap measure and not a long-term solution. So prayers are still much appreciated.

I’ll try to keep y’all updated as I can. Thank you again so much and may God bless you all!

Tammy

Lord, please Have Mercy upon this elderly aunt. Help them to be healed, Lord, if You so will it, through either the actions of their doctors or Your Divine Healing Grace. Console her family, Lord, whatever Your Will may be, that You will provide the best option for her. Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, I pray. Amen.
