Hello again Friends,

I just received the latest update on Allen - and I thank you all so much for your continued prayers!

***Good news, over the past three days Allen’s kidney levels have come down 4 points, we are praying that with the increased output this will continue to decrease his creatinine levels and they will be below 5 or 4. That’s the point they can stop the dialysis. They are hoping they will return to normal at .7 or .8, and he can possibly go home next week. While his blood pressure is still higher than normal, it has been consistent and in control. There are other positive signs in his blood work. Even though he’s going to the bathroom more, it still doesn’t mean the impurities are coming out of his body like they should. He is improving, but still has a long way to go. Please continue to pray that his numbers will continue to improve and he is able to get off of dialysis and get home soon. ***

Again, thank you all so much! 🙂

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. :signofcross: :gopray2:

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not in to temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen. :signofcross: :gopray2:

It’s always more upsetting when a child gets sick. I had that experience when my nephew who was 7 at that time underwent an operation. I couldn’t stop worrying. I pray fervently that God restores him to normal health. I also pray for his parents to have the strength to endure these trying times. God bless you!

Good news indeed. We will continue to pray for Allen and his family.

O St. Gerard, who like the Savior, loved children so tenderly and by your prayers freed many from disease and even from death; graciously look down upon the distressed parents pf Allen who plead with thee for their child’s health if such be the Will of God. Present their promise to God to bring up the child a good Christian and to guard it by word and example against the fatal leprosy of sin. This favor we implore thee, O sainted Brother, through the tender love with which Jesus and Mary blessed thy own innocent childhood.
Amen
Pray for us, O Great Saint Gerard!
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ

Another update from Allen’s dad today! 🙂

I wanted to first thank everyone for the cards, flowers and messages as it relates to our son Allen. I really appreciate the support over the past several days. Allen is starting to show positive signs of improvement, we have to take one day at a time. One of the hardest thing as a parent is waiting, unlike stitches, broken bones with Kidneys it requires lots of patience. As for Allen his attitude remains positive and strong. We have strong faith that everything will be ok its just a matter of his time not ours.

Praise the Lord for the good news that little Allen started to show positive signs of improvement and is feeling more and more better .
God bless you for keeping us update !
I’ll continue my prayers for Allen’s healing after his heavy illness , may Lord grant him fast recovery , that his kidneys will function well , for no signs of infection and that his broken bones shall fix in the best way .
In Jesus healing Holy Name , Amen

Our Father…Hail Mary…Glory Be… Amen

Praying very hard for this precious child. Praise God for his improvement!

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
AMEN

Lord, please continue to help this young child heal. And provide continued strength for the family.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Lord, support us as we pray to you, and keep us day and night under your protection.
Guide us as we live in this world of change,
and let your own unchangeability be a firm foundation for us.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.

May the Lord bless us and keep us from all harm; and may he lead us to eternal life.
