There seems to be very many good Catholics who are critical of the Synod. I think it is appropriate for the Pope to meet these people in a spirit of charity to hear their concerns and address any relevant issues.
That would seem to be the obvious course of action of a good leader respecting his flock.
The lack of this action (so far) appears to be driving people to be more concerned and forceful in their opinions. The pope needs to lead in an inclusive way.
