Some saints were offered a crown of flowers vs a crown of thorns they could choose the flowers and remain in Heaven or the crown of thorns and suffer on earth for redeption, naturally the brain cells are taking an afternoon nap, so for the life of me I cannot remember any names at the mometn. Thanks for the interesting response. I was just reading that she received a thorn in the forehead from a crucifix that stayed with her the rest of her life after she asked to join in the passion.Tim

You are right. There were a few, though, that the offer was made to of the crown of flowers/thorns, just can’t remember at the moment. I think Mother Marianna de Jesus was one, but there have been others. God Bless.
