I just found out about something any traditional Catholic would rejoice in hearing! There is an Alaskan cruise with Fr. Pablo Straub (frequent speaker on EWTN) and Jason & Crystalina Evert (chastity speakers to youth and hosts of EWTN’s The Pure Life) departing in June 2008! What an opportunity! My family just booked to go with my parents, myself, and my six younger siblings. I think if you search “cruise Fr. Straub” on google the site Vitae Travel comes up and that is who is putting the cruise on. There’s daily mass, daily talks by both speakers, opportunities for confessions, recitations of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and best of all–time with Fr. Straub and the speakers! I’m 21, but all my siblings are younger and none of us can wait! I’m sure there are others just as excited as me so I wanted to tell people about it because I don’t think they are advertising well for it. I myself am receiving it as a graduation present from my parents so don’t get despaired if you are broke. Just suggest it as a gift. 🙂 So, check it out. I’m pretty sure this is a once in a lifetime opportunity because Fr. Straub is getting older. 😃

Hi Tiffalina, I am interested in cruising with Fr. Straub for Alaska. I will check it out. Please send me a private e-mail telling me more about the cruise ship name and who to contact.

I recently returned from a cruise on the Zuiderdam Ship. For the first time in my life I was an alter girl during the whole week for Rev. Royal J. Parent who was a Priest from Boston and other areas of Canada. I had so much fun passing out the books, collecting the money and helping the priest with things that needed to be done to get ready for the mass. I looked foreward to attending Mass every day.
You all are going to have a wonderful time on the cruise. Please keep me informed because I am a big time cruiser who loves to cruise. Lucie
Yes, church can be fun especially on a cruise ship because mostly the devoted Catholics show up for Mass almost every day on the cruise ships.

Hi, I called Linda at Vitae Travel and had a long talk with her and I really like her. I plan to book the Alaska cruise too because it looks like a fun group of Catholics that are cruising together. It will be fun eating dinner together as a group and running around the Star Princess ship attending the different activities.
I have cruised to Alaska before on a Princess ship and I have also cruised on the Star Princess ship to Mexican ports. I live in Los Angeles so it will be easy for me to fly to Seatlle to board the Star ship.

Linda is going to e-mail me information for the cruise. She is looking foreward to meeting me too.
I plan to ask some of my friends if they want to book the cruise too. I will send you a private message. Lucie
