Does anyone know a good game about te crusades in particular? I have played medieval total war 2 and would like a game similiar in design but focused on the crusades.

Stronghold Crusader!!!
One of my favorite games when I was a kid. It’s about ten years old, but a lot of fun. It’s a lot like the Total War games in a sense where you control armies and such. You build castles, manage economies, and conquer enemies; but not on a Total War scale. It’s on a local scale if you know what I mean.
There’s Historical Campaigns from both the Christian and the Muslim perspectives.
Also, there’s what’s called the “Crusader Trail”, where you and a predetermined number of allies and enemies build up your castles and try to defeat eachother on the same map. It gets incredibly challenging and is wicked fun!!!
You can also do custom games and create your own maps. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!!! Any Stronghold game is a blast!!! Especailly the old ones!!
