If Jesus Christ and the blessed mother existed why did the Crusades happen???. Why did our lord not keep in mind the amount of innocence people who will be killed because of their believes…??.Why did the Blessed mother come later with the messages of Fatima. Why not stop crusades before it happen??

the crusades began as wars of defense by Christian nations against Muslim attacks, long after Jesus and Mary lived on Earth. Later crusades were mounted to liberate Christian sites in the Holy Land from Muslim domination, and permit Christians to once again make pilgrimages to those sites unmolested, and to protect rights of Christians in lands overtaken by the Muslims. I do not understand the question at all. What have the apprations at Fatima to do with this topic at all?

They occurred in an area that was pillaged by the crusaders.

(BTW, the crusades were more about killing, looting, pillaging, and raping Christians, than doing that to Muslims.)

If you’re referring to the Reconquista in Portugal, that was Christians taking back an area that had been conquered and pillaged by Muslims. No serious pillaging or looting of Christians involved - Christians in al-Andalus didn’t own anything to speak of - certainly nothing worth looting or pillaging.
 
Just as atrocities like the bombing of Dresden didn’t make U.S. involvement in WWII unjustified, so atrocities such as the sack of Constantinople didn’t make the Crusades unjustified. See Crusade Myths.

The second secret our blessed mother say “If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred; the Holy Father will have much to suffer; various nations will be annihilated. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. Why did she not stop all the Catholics for killing the Muslim As in the above text she was going to stop Communists why not stop the Catholics from killing other humans…any everyone is loved as equal in the eyes of god…why did Catholics kill. Jesus told us NOT TO KILL. We are animal or evil spirit. in killing 15,000 and 25,000 people were killed …… lots of live !!!

Why did Jesus not stop the Romans from martyring His disciples? Why does God IN GENERAL not stop people of ANY faith from killing each other - whether in WWII, Vietnam, Iraq etc?

Catholics aren’t the only ones who aren’t supposed to murder, you know!

At any rate, the simplest answer is that God permits us to exercise our free will to sin in all sorts of ways that offend him and his commandments, including the free will to harm each other by murder. Without free will we cannot be free to truly love Him, He values our freely-given love so much that He allows us to freely hate and sin as well.

I still don’t see why the crusades in particular are a problem for you, as opposed to other wars I’ve mentioned, or why Fatima, which occurred a good 500 years after the last battle that could reasonably be called a Crusade, should have any relation with the Crusades.

The crusades were essentially defensive in nature.There were abuses certainly,as there are in any venture initiated and conducted by fallen man.It slays me that we’re continually slagged for the crusades but muslim agression and hegemony is conveniently ignored.My goodness they invaded most of Spain.The crusaders in addition to committing many personal sins also kicked the buggars out!

Why did the crusades sack Constantinople?

Is it true the people of Constantinople betrayed
them?
 
Some very good responses here, just wanted to add that the disputed lands controled access to all eastern trade-- silk, cashmere, and the same spices that made Columbus’s journey a worthwhile economic gamble.

I’ve little doubt that the princes who sent troops and treasure to the middle east expected more than just a spiritual reward.
 
is there some scripture passage related to this topic we should be discussing? if not, wrong forum
