May your beloved husband rest in peace and may our good God pour out His graces upon you and may He bring consolation, comfort and healing into your heart and a prompt solution to your problems.
Joshua 1:9
Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
Psalms 23:4
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You may be going through such suffering where you may even feel alone and even abandoned by God but I assure you that you are not alone. Find courage in the Lord who is with you. He understands your suffering and is capable of bringing comfort, healing and peace in to your heart. Even our Lord felt such pain and abandonment as he was dying on the cross:
“Jesus cried with a loud voice, ‘My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?’”(Mat 27:46) (Psalm 22)
Psalm 22 starts out with this cry and moves on into a tone of encouragement and praise. I would encourage you to keep your eyes on God and praise his name even through suffering. Meditating and praying Psalms 22 and 23 may bring some comfort.
Our Lord died so that we may live. Have courage and faith that your husband now lives in the presence of the Lord and he is joyfully waiting for you in that place that our Lord has prepared for you and him in heaven:
John 14:1-4
“Let not your hearts be troubled; believee in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.”
2 Maccabees 7:20
Though she saw her seven sons perish within a single day, she bore it with good courage because of her hope in the Lord.
Psalm 27:13-14
“I believe that I shall see the goodness of the LORD
in the land of the living! Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; yes, wait for the LORD!”
Jude 1:1-2
To those who are called, beloved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ: May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you."
