Has anyone knew about him or read his books?

He says he’s Catholic but it looks to me his book about the Inquisition (on his website up there ^) is anti-Catholic in tone and submitting to the myth that the Inquisition uses hard torture.

What do you guys think? Any opinions?

The Spanish inquisition did use hard torture. what cleaned it up was the pope intervening and putting it in the hands of the Dominican friars.
