About 6-7 years ago, I have had a few experiences with this one light roaming my property at night. the first experience I had with it was in the fall about 7 years ago, when I heard some cats fighting in my back yard, and for some reason looked into my woods, and law a blue light wandering around for a few seconds and disappeared. Then about 4-5 months later in the middle of winter, I was laying in my bed going to sleep, and all of a sudden my room was illuminated by this blue light, and it was moving, only lasted a few seconds. I live in a ranch house so it was about the same height as a human would be. Then 2 months later, I was in my bed trying to fall asleep, when I opened my eyes, and my room was illuminated again, this time was a white light and was just staying in the same spot, not moving. I got scared and turned the lights on, and had a hard time sleeping that night. I live where it is sort of semi-rural and the houses are little ways apart and good amount of trees throughout my yard, with a forest in the back part of the property. the funny thing is, these experiences were all on Friday nights between 9:30 and 11:30 PM. I might have seen these only once in the past 6 years. On Friday nights, I still feel scared to go out, and keep a light on in the hallway and don’t open my eyes. I would appreciate your thoughts on what this might have been.

The lights is just probably flashlights.

Get the house bless.
Get home security: dogs, cameras, alarm, guns.

Look for a natural explanation, like a household object which glows in the dark, or a light which is projecting into your room from an adjacent room, building, or street lamp. Don’t trouble yourself with fantasies of spooks. Neither should you over-react with home security (“dogs, cameras, alarm, guns” oh my!), but it wouldn’t be a bad idea to use basic security mechanisms that you may already have, like door locks or window opening limiters.

Sounds like phosphenes, google the word - you will be amazed. 🙂

I appreciate the help and realize I shouldn’t jump right to paranormal causes. It cant be a light from another room because I saw it in my back woods where it was very dark and walking like a person would. There are no street lights around where any of this happened. I don’t think it was a person because once I seen it there was snow on the ground, and when I checked there were no footprints.

Interesting. It sounds like you have considered the usual possibilities. I am not sure what it is that you have seen.

If you think it is supernatural, do not be afraid. I am not an expert in phenomena like these, but I believe you can trust in God. Pray to acknowledge God’s love and mercy, and ask for God’s protection. As St. Paul wrote, “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

I am in a very rural setting and the teens around here hang out in the woods—there really isn’t anywhere else for them to go or do actually. They meet in the woods and do whatever kids do and on occasion their flash lights will shine into the house if by accident or intentional who knows. It freaked me out the first few times it happened. I thought it was aliens. 🙂

I know this wasn’t a flashlight, because one time I saw it there was snow on the ground, and when I investigated, there were no footprints or tracks were it was.
