While browsing thru some old posts just now, I came across www.cursillo.org and wondered if this is Biblical or what the Catholic Church’s stance is on this, if anyone can help me out here. Thanks in advance.
 
Let me rephrase the question as I now see that it is a Roman Catholic ministry. I have never heard of it. If anyone is familiar with it would you tell me a little bit about it? Thanks in advance.
 
Cursillo is an “encounter” type experience that has reshaped and remolded to many many different kinds of “retreats”. (Tec, quest, search, luke 18, awakening, etc, etc).

Its an amazing template to encounter God. Too much shouldn’t be shared before going, because it trully is something that has to be experienced. I first experienced this idea when I went on “awakening” and it changed my life!

This past April 12-15 was the 35th Anniversary of my Encounter (back in the 70’s, the teen Cursillo’s were called “Encounters”). :extrahappy:

On that weekend, I went to Confession after being away for 6 years. :extrahappy: :extrahappy:

Who knows if I would have even gone back to Mass without my weekend???
