The site that you posted says that this “Customary” will be available soon. Could you let us know when it is finally out? I am an Latin Rite Catholic, but years ago when I was young I sang in professional choirs in the Episcopal Church, and I loved it. It was obvious to me that to “worship in the holiness of beauty” as well as in the “beauty of holiness” was really a Catholic ideal. I would go to Mass, where I would truly receive the Body and Blood of our Lord, to the accompaniment of guitars and whatever, and then go to Episcopal service to sing the glorious works of Catholic composers such as Tallis and Byrd, where there was not a valid consecration. I think that the Anglican use is a great blessing to the whole Church, for Anglicans who wish to be in Communions with Peter, and for the rest of us who appreciate such beautiful and reverent worship conducted in the English language. I can’t wait to see this new “Customary.”
