It starts to come undone and then I have long threads hanging off me. Their hems just aren’t done right and so after the first or second wash it’s over. 😦

I’ve had some good luck at a place called Dress Barn. (Which doesn’t just have dresses, but has some very nice work shirts.) Their pants are a little pricey though so I went to Burlington Coat Factory instead and their pants were half that price. Still though, Dress Barn has the prettiest shirts!

Never been to Dress Barn or Burlington. Isn’t Burlington similar to TJ Maxx and Ross? You can always find great deals at stores like that.

Target! I love their sleepwear and their socks and slippers and shoes. When it comes to the regular women’s clothing, Target’s hit or miss for me too. I’ve had some issues as well with stitching coming out, or discovering when I got home that it was already loose. And their sizing can be very, very random lol. I notice the quality differences in certain Target brands, so I try to stick to the ones that I know are (usually) good.

In my experience, Xhilaration is one of the hit or miss brands. I haven’t ever had any problem with the Merona line; Mossimo has also been hit or miss (mostly hit though IMO). 😉

Little Jorge has been to shy to stay by himself in the first grade class, so brother Carlos, who comes back after Mass for the communion class, has been staying with his brother to help him adjust, and is an all-around guardian angel for this class–getting books, handing out supplies, giving his own spin on the gospel stories, and definitely a hero to his little brother. My 8 month old James now has 4 teeth, middle 2 on the bottom, but the 2 on the top are only on the right side, so now he does this huge, goofy cross-bite, crooked grin with his nose all wrinkled up and waves to people. My 5 and 6 year old boys love clearing tables and helping with clean up at the K of C pancake breakfast, my 5 year old told me yesterday after mass “But Mommy, we have to hurry up and get back to pancake breffist, my friends need my help!” 😃 His “friends” are all retired and older than his grandparents, it’s soo cute! :rotfl:

Wow, I have the same allergy! (to my husband, not yours!) 😛

Our almost one-year-old DS learned to clap recently and thinks it’s so funny. He cracks up whenever he or we clap, and that is definitely cute (especially with his dimples!). 😃

When our DD says that our DS is her best friend, it’s beyond cute. :love:

Here’s the sad truth: a guy can’t be as cute as a pair of shoes 😦 Notes to self: never stand between a woman and a shoe shop window, ever. 😃
 
Unfortunately it’s getting cold outside. Those strappy shoes just don’t work with ice and snow. :confused: Nothing quite like numb toes!

I hate the cold with a passion… Why I ever moved away from Florida is beyond me 😦

You always want what you don’t have it seems. I live in the sweltering heart of Texas, and I miss being up north. Heck I even miss New Mexico (where I was raised) becauase at least then it’s a dry heat! 😃

*Really?? Let’s trade places. I have been in Florida since 2007…and while we have had positive things happen, I miss Pittsburgh.

But, I do like strappy shoes…so…hmmm… :hmmm:*

I loved Florida, I grew up there… Now I go down there in “winter” and watch all the Floridians walk around in jackets in 50-60 degree weather and reminisce about having been one of those people. Yesterday and today we had “frost” warnings already.

There is something intrinsically evil about only having 2 months of nice hot weather a year. 😦 Texas is just as good as Florida as far as I’m concerned… my parents live there and I love getting off the plane and feeling the heat hit you like you just opened up your oven! I’ll trade you or whatevergirl places any time!
