Anti-Catholic is anti-Catholic not matter how you slice it. All they are doing is throwing a thin veil over some of the sewage. Since Sony is producing the picture, I say a boycott of Sony is in order.

This is why the book and movie are bad

The people that went to see the Passion went for a religious movie not a triller with religious undertones. The people that it went to the movie’s to see the Passion were not people who normal went to the theathers.Thats why it’s numbers were so high and why it stayed around for so long. The Companies need to ask why would those people come back for something that is “anti-christian”. The Code’s message is the reversal of what the passion was focused on. The Passion was about the love and death of god’s son for us. It showed his god and human side in equal light. He gave up everything for us… The Code is going to show that Jesus’s wasn’t really God and his human side was more important because he went out and had kids so that his line would continue on.

The code is not going to have the same numbers as the passion and here is why:
1.) Religious- Just because it’s religious doesn’t mean Jo Bob from Kansas is going to make and effort to go watch the movie
2.) Book readers- Not all people who read the book are going to go to the movies. Some people DON"T like movies at all but love to read. What is going to make them go the movies??
3.) Content- Why would a preacher tell people to go to a movie about a book that is anti-christian and will have some very sexually over tones. The passion was violent BUT it didn’t have vulgar words or curse words or sex. The code will have all of those things. There are some pretty sexual things that happen in the book. Are the going to leave that all out???Then they ruin the book

I wonder why they’d try to tone it down now of all times? You’d think that when they saw the controversy over the book they could predict at least a bit more over a movie.

If Ron Howard is trying to back down now, he has to suffer from the worst lack of foresight ever.

Doesn’t sound like they are going to do as much as their lipservice to concerned catholics.

If no one sees this book as damaging here is what its supporters really think.

Wow we set out to kill specifically women during the Crusades? Where is this in tha annals of historians. Reality says almost all of those killed by the Crusaders where male Muslims. Where their some innocent civilians killedm sure there was just like in any war including the present Iraq war but there was no coerced effort to just kill women. Ridiculous.

Individuals purchase this book…and forget that they picked it up in the “Fiction” section of the bookstore. There was a show on TLC…that was shown all last week that completely ripped apart the book… it was called, “The Real Da Vinci Code.”
