Daily Lenten Prayer for April 10, 2009
Opening Prayer: Lord, by shedding His blood for us, Your Son, Jesus Christ, established the paschal mystery. In Your goodness, make us holy and watch over us always. Amen.
Scripture Readings: Isaiah 52:13-53 Hebrews 4:14; 5:9 John 18:1-19:42
Meditation: Jesus has died for us. I will take time today to reflect and give thanks for the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for me and for the world.
Closing Prayer: Almighty God, we receive new life from Your Son. May we find full contentment in the meal we hope to share in Your eternal kingdom. Amen.
