Daily Lenten Prayer for April 12, 2009
Opening Prayer: God our Father, by raising Christ Your Son You conquered the power of death and opened for us the way to eternal life. Let our celebration today raise us up and renew our lives by the spirit that is within us. Amen.
Scripture Readings: Acts of the Apostles 4:32-35; John 5:1-6; John 20:19-31
Meditation: Jesus Christ is risen today. This is our triumphant holy day. Alleluia!
Closing Prayer: Father of love, watch over Your Church and bring us to the glory of the Resurrection promised by the Easter sacrament. Amen.
