Daily Lenten Prayer for February 27, 2009
Opening Prayer: Lord, may everything we do begin with Your inspiration, continue with Your help and reach perfection under Your guidance. Amen.
Scripture Readings: Deuteronomy 30:15-20 Luke: 9:22-25
Meditation: Today’ reading from Deuteronomy calls us to “choose life” by loving the Lord and growing in union with Him. In what ways can my actions today be life-giving for the people around me?
Closing Prayer: Merciful Father, may the gifts and blessings we receive bring us pardon and salvation. Amen.
