Daily Lenten Prayer for March 4, 2009
Opening Prayer: Lord, look upon us and hear our prayers. By the good works You inspire, help us to discipline our bodies and to be renewed in spirit. Amen.
Scripture Readings: Jonah 3:1-10 Luke 11:29-32
Meditation: The people of Nineveh heard the message of Jonah and were saved. Do I speak up for God with the same courage and conviction as Jonah?
Closing Prayer: Father, You never fail to give us the food of life. Renew our strength and bring us to salvation. Amen.
