Daily Lenten Prayer for March 8, 2009
Opening Prayer: God our Father, help us to hear Your Son. Enlighten us with Your word, that we may find the way to Your glory. Amen.
Scripture Readings: Genesis 22:1-18 Romans 8:31b-34 Mark 9:2-10
Meditation: Abraham trusted that God’s promises to him would come true. How can I deepen my trust in God’s promises to me?
Closing Prayer: Lord, we rejoice that You are our Creator and Ruler. As we call upon Your generosity, renew and keep us in Your love. Amen.
