Daily Lenten Prayer for March 9, 2009
Opening Prayer: God our Father, teach us to find new life through penance. Keep us from sin, and help us live by Your commandment of love. Amen.
Scripture Readings: Daniel 9:4-10 Luke 6:36-38
Meditation: Penance is not a quick solution to overcoming our faults and failings. How can I make penance more genuine in my life?
Closing Prayer: Lord, bring us pardon and lead us to the joy of heaven. Amen.
