Using the Calendar and Lectionary according to the 1962 calendar, sorry if that’s not the proper way to say it. What readings would be used for daily mass?
 
I don’t know what the calendar specified, but in practice, unless it was a feast, it was usually a requiem mass in memory of someone. On the very rare occasions when it wasn’t a feast and no one had requested a memorial, the mass of the previous Sunday was used. It was the requiem mass well over half the time.
 
Certain weekdays have their own readings - the Ember days, weekdays of Lent, the octaves of Easter and Pentecost, etc. But has already been mentioned, weekdays following the Sundays after Epiphany and Pentecost usually followed the previous Sunday’s readings, unless it was a feast, votive or requiem Mass.
 
There was no separate 1962 lectionary; the readings were contained in the missal itself.
 
First thanks for the responses. Perhaps my question wasn’t clear. In the current
Liturgical calendars there is a 3 year cycle of Sunday readings, A,B ,C. But
During the week there is a two year cycle of readings, I, II. My question is
and I think it’s been answered, what was used for readings during the week
In the 1962 Liturgical calendar.
