Daily Prayer for July 28, 2009
Grant me, Lord, the spirit of justice to share what I have with those in need. Let me cultivate a spirit of detachment toward the things of this world, that I may use them wisely and let go of them when they no longer sustain me. Let me recognize that all that I have comes from You, and that Your gifts are not to be squandered but put to good use, not hoarded by a few but shared by all. Be with those who do not have what they need; fill them with hope that You will sustain them. Amen.
