rosary every day while I walk (good guide on newadvent,
catholicity.com or ewtn or buy Fr. Peytons Rosary book)
LOTH with the 4 volume set, it was a gift but I think it is from Catholic Book Publishing. as an Oblate this and lectio divina are what we have committed to. I nearly always get morning and/or evening prayer in but sometimes I cheat and use universalis. when we are together as a group or training new candidates we use Shorter Christian Prayer, which I also use in any parish setting (because the parish owns a lot of the books) about $15 in any Catholic book catalog, and there is a large type edition as well
when travelling I carry Magnificat or Word Among Us, which have daily Mass readings, order of the Mass, simplified morning and evening prayer, saint a day, and reflection for meditation plus some good articles on spiritual topics.
lectio divina, book is the bible, or any missal or resource with daily Mass readings. or for the summer I often carry one of the Ignatius Press study guides for a particular book and do lectio with that over a few months. for instance I will be doing Mark this summer in preparation for next liturgical year since we rely so heavily on the lectionary in our catechetical programs.
oops you asked when
rosary in am before sun is up and golfers are out
loth after getting dressed and having light meal in am (diabetic, have to eat), evening prayer either with whatever class or group is meeting that night, or after supper.
lectio, try to get to chapel as early as I can in the day, if I wait until later it won’t happen
if I wake in the middle of the night I pray vigils (office of readings) and do lectio with the readings, which usually puts me right to sleep. don’t know if that prayer is efficacious, I guess Teresa would say yes, John of the Cross, he is stricter
